Lumina is the first photo book by the Portuguese photographer Joana Marçal Carriço.

Lumina gathers a fine selection of live photos from more than 50 Portuguese and international bands captured through the sharp lens of Joana Marçal Carriço - from the smallest stage to the biggest venues: MOONSPELL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, THY ANTICHRIST, KARBONSOUL, MASTODON, ABBATH, SEPTICFLESH, MISS LAVA, ROTTING CHRIST, WE ARE KILLING OURSELVES, OBITUARY, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE to name a few.

The book's foreword is penned by the illustrious Seth Siro Anton, renowned graphic artist as well as singer and bass player from the greek band Septicflesh. The preface features two legends: António Melão (Cameraman Metálico), the first Portuguese “metal” photographer and Pedro Pedra, lead singer from the Portuguese Death Grind band “GROG”.
